WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF MEDICAL/NURSING BOARD CALLS

IF YOU ARE CONTACTED BY A PROFESSIONAL LICENSING AGENCY [MEDICAL/NURSING BOARD] DO NOT ACT UPON THIS CONTACT YOURSELF.
THE LETTER FROM AGENCY MAY SEEM TO BE FRIENDLY, SIMPLE, AND ASKING YOU TO CONTACT THEM TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE FAST. IF YOU DO THAT YOU ARE EXPOSED TO HUGE MACHINERY OF LICENSING AGENCY. LICENSING AGENCY DOES NOT HAVE TO REMIND YOU THAT YOU ARE ENTITLED TO AN ATTORNEY. HOWEVER, IT IS SIMPLY FOOLISH TO TALK TO THESE AGENTS WHO ARE STATE POLICE AGENTS WITHOUT LEGAL REPRESENTATION.

  1. Q: An agent of Medical showed up in my office and wanted to speak with me. I left the office to contact you first. What should I do.
    A: As we have mentioned before, it is not a good idea to speak with agents of Medical Board, Medical, or Medicare without your Lawyer. However, sometimes, these agencies arrive with subpoena or warrant when you may not resist the search. Yet, even at these occasions, you must immediately contact your Lawyer. It is a good idea to consult a Lawyer who knows about field of Medicine
